Home from visiting family in Michigan...

Just home from a driving trip to Michigan....we are in Minnesota....and left just before a major winter storm hit Minneapolis...but we had great driving both going and coming home....Good roads....We listened to an audio story CD...Going we listened to Smokin' Seventeen...and coming home we listened to A Face at the Window...by Sarah Graves....
Good to visit but glad to be home...:)

Darn on that weather!! Good the party was fun anyway!!
Yesterday, here in south central Kansas, it was 73ºF.
Today it's 33º with overnight sleet still on the ground.

Have been this way a few times...and have done some sightseeing in the Mi, Detroit area...but not this time....Had
Welcome home Ruth!! Whew on missing that storm!! Glad it was a good family time!! Did you do anything or see anything different this time?? Nice you could be entertained by audio stories. Those don't work for me. I get too distracted by passing scenery and husband is too hard of hearing. I do like to read books while traveling though.
