since we got a new kitten. I am not surpised ... but anyone have any ideas? We already HATE that we have to have a litter box - Paka has been in indoor cat w/ small jaunts outside occassionaly, for her whole life. She will pee outside in the grass. The litter box is in our spare bathroom (which is another issue ... nothing worse than cat litter on the floor- Plus one of my dogs has decided cat poop is a delicacy, so he gets the litter all over too! Even thought there is a top on the box, he sticks his big fat English Lab head right in there!) & the kitten has been w/ us about 3-4 weeks. We used 2 boxes at 1st, in order to train the kitten - one up & one downstairs. But since my H hates the litter so much, i really would like to use only 1 box. (if it helps to know, my new kitten is a fresh, tough little boy. NO fear. Adorable & full of ZIP ... but is torturing poor Paka! We have taken to squirting him w/ a water bottle when he takes her down ... which he LOVES to do. She just lies under him growling & meowing ... its so pathetic! He will NOT let GO! Unfortunatly Paka was declawed as a baby, so she doenst have much to fight back with ... but at least he has calmed down on the torture towards her. & we try not to leave them alone too much, if we go out, i seperate them, for her sanity & my peace of mind!) - anyway, i am SURE she is pretty PO'd. So ... she now pees on the bathroom floor, instead of in the box! She always did do this b4, if the litter wasnt cleaned in time ... cats are funny, arent they! lol Short of trying another litter box somewhere else in teh house, any ideas? Thanks!

I have also heard about the one box per cat and I also know people who have many cats and they share so depends on age and temperment I guess. Our dogs like the boxes to..yuk..I just try to position them so the cat can get in but the dog can not!!
