No, they can't fit her in before that, they are booked. She's okay. She only goes out when I go. She is still scared of being out without my DH or I 'cause she (I think) saw the 2 dogs that got in our yard kill our other cat (her buddy). She has been actually spending time in her cat kaddie. She still has the discharge and when I called the vet Friday he said to just watch her. Yes, Great, but what is causing this and is this normal when her body is getting back to normal????? I don't think he quite understood my question but it was clear......why does she have the discharge? His answer. Just keep an eye on her. So that is what I am doing.

I would keep her in the ENTIRE time until she is spayed... all it takes is one time away from you, male cats will pick up her scent from miles away and whammo... she is pregnant again.

I agree w/Cat. Please don't let her out at all. When she's in heat, she'll want to satisfy her urges, & may run off. How about looking for another vet that can take her sooner? I never heard of having to wait that long.

Maybe you can call the vet and have them put you on a cancellation list.
