Just curious for fun. Because I sure do. I was just wondering how many of you have the same thoughts. I could say I love all animals more than people (except my family of course.) But is that so wrong??? Am I alone here!!

That's a great question to ponder. Animals are forgiving even if someone has done them wrong. Their little attention spans are so short. They may pout, but they'll come back for love. They do not hold a grudge and will always be there when people won't. I love my cats much more than people. They are always there. If I could I would have a house full of cats. I love them so much.

I always say that Boy is the best man in my life because no matter how much I screw up he will always love me the same way .. We definitly have an emotional bond to one another ..

Yesterday they let me go from my new job and all I did today was cry in bed because I was so upset from it .. Because I feel like they gyped me .. Little Boy was beside me the whole day today to make me feel better ..

The grazing of his tail across my face was a great feeling .. Like saying mommy I am here ..

Dont get me wrong my boyfriend and mother are sympathetic to what happened but sometimes a cat is so much better

Cats are wonderful when it comes to emotional support. I know that whenever I've been upset, my cat has always been there for me. I was staying with roommates during a bad breakup several years ago, and their cat didn't leave my side. She stayed on my lap, curled up in bed with me, and basically just let me know she was there.

That sucks about the job. I was hired at a place once, along with 4 other people. A month later, they let 4 of us go, saying that it was simply a trial thing anyway. Thanks for telling us up front!

LOL. I definitely do. They don't argue or talk back, they love you unconditionally. I used to have a T-shirt w/ a pic of a cat on it. It said, "Some of my best friends are people." ;o) ROFL

My niece graduated from college in May, moved several hours away for a job in Atlanta, Ga. and she was laid off yesterday. Luckily they paid her two months sever. pay and the manager of the apartment, that she had a years lease on at $1200. a month, let her out of the lease with-give up your deposit and pay 1 more months rent. The company spent $2500. on a moving co. for her to move, the ceo quit and they changed things around in the company so she lost her job. I personally would never give my cats up. They affect alot in our life. I have to have a safe yard, area for the cats, that limits where I live, it has or will eventually cause me to lose my home daycare of 17 years, because I have alot of cats, inside and out. I've chosen not to take on any news kids and let the ones I have go into preschool next year. Then I'm closing. I take short 2-3 days vacation trips, even though someone is here to feed the animals, certain cats come in at night, want certain foods and may need their own plate, this gets complicated for someone else to deal with. Again, its my choice. As for your job...usually it works out for the best, you may not think so right now, but how the company handled things doesn't say much "good" about this company. You will rise above it. Enjoy Little Boy. Be glad you are both healthy and have each other... donna
