I haven't had overall good luck with Sticky Paws...my cats just scratch around it, and the product itself has removed some of the fabric. Typical cats, it's almost as if the Sticky Paws are a challenge and tell them exactly where to scratch. I did use that to my advantage, and applied some to the scratching posts, which they never used. The scratching posts are very popular now. So if they don't work for you, that is a possible option.

How did you make out with the kitties scratching your boss's walls?

That has been my experience as well. Scrappy started pulling the sticky paws off with her teeth so she could scratch where she wanted too. Badness, however, did stop scratching. One thing that is working for me with Tucker, is placing one of those card board scratchers on the floor beneath where he is scratching on the furniture. He goes for that first!

I don't have any trouble with my cats scratching the furniture, so have not had to try Sticky Paws. But mine both love the cardboard scratch pad. They both go for it instantly upon waking from their afternoon nap when I get home.

WOW thanks for remembering LOL I put Jaffers tape on the known places where they scratched, its a hideous gray color and it wouldnt stick to furniture and would look horrible in a regular house, so i am going to use the sticky paws to my new home and my boss doesnt mind about the way the tape looks cuz noone evr comes over his basement anyway but us , we are going to paint over it but the BOWFLEW machine seat is destroyed, he didnt care but I am pissed. These little guys have 4 scratching posts and tons of cardboard boxes but still managed to destroy something.
