Behavior after neutering

About a month ago I posted here about having my kittens spayed and neutered. they had their surgery last Thursday and did great. The last few days, my male kitten has been acting strange. Not playing much, he's eating as usual. We find him sitting in the sink or tub. He's just not his normal crazy self.

does anyone have any thoughts on why he's acting this way?

thanks

Glad to hear that he is fine and acting normal again. Thanks for the update.

Thank you for your replies. i took him to the vet that Evening I first posted. She said everything looked great, and didnt have any answers as to why his behavior was weird. I kept him NPO that evening because he had vomited a few times. The next day though, he was fine and he's been acting like himself ever since. It was very strange

Most of the time the little boys bounce right back after about a day after their neutering.  I would take him to the vet and have him checked out just to make sure he doesn't have an infection or something.

Please keep us posted.

Is he still acting strange, or has it improved? Will he be seeing the vet for a post op visit? Can you check the surgical area to see if it looks okay? I was wondering if he was sitting in the tub or sink because the porcelain feels cool....like maybe the surgical site feels hot to him. If he doesn't have a post op visit I would probably check with your regular vet to see if they think he needs to be seen. I would be concerned about abcess/infection. Please let us know how it turns out.
