Binx won't eat ANY soft now

Hi all! Grr...I'm so frustrated about Binx. In a previous post, I said that he snubbed the Nutro cans we were giving him and Skeeter and would only eat Fancy Feast. NOW, he won't even eat F.F.! But, he goes crazy over crunchy food.
We tried putting some crunchy food on top of his soft food last night, but he still wouldn't eat it. A few people have told me that cats can become addicted to crunchy food...or any kind of food, really. But, the entire time we've had Binx, we've always fed crunchy for breakfast and canned for dinner. Why the sudden change?
Do any of you have cats that just WON'T eat soft food anymore...or ever? What type of food do you feed to make sure they get all the nutrients they need?
Any thoughts, anyone?

I feed my cats crunch food all of the time, except for Rusty who can't eat it,

We used to feed dry Nutro, too, until I looked at the ingredients and saw that it is no better than, say, Purina. So, now we use Maxximum Nutrition, which actually has better ingredients than Nutro and we get it right from the grocery store!

Here is a list of ingredients for Nutro Max Gormet Classics Adult Roasted Chicken:
"Chicken Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, Wheat Flour, Ground Rice, Poultry Fat (preserved with mixed Tocopherols, a source of natural Vitamin E), Ground Whole Wheat, Natural Flavors, Lamb Meal, Yeast Culture, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Choline Chloride, DL-Methionine, Taurine, Dried Egg Product, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Inositol, Niacin, Copper Sulfate, Ascorbic Acid (source of Vitamin C), Manganous Oxide, Garlic Flavor, Riboflavin Supplement (source of Vitamin B2), Potassium Iodide, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of Vitamin B6), Thiamine Mononitrate (source of Vitamin B1), Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Folic Acid, Sodium Selentite."
When buying a pet food, you should always looked for a NAMED protein source as the first ingredient. Chicken, Salmon, Beef, Turkey...these should be the first 1,2,or 3 ingredients. The whole first part of the ingredients listed above are fillers! Just carbs, no protein.
Here is a list of ingredients for Nutro Natural Complete Care Adult formula:

Same thing here...where's the protein source? The farther down on the list the ingredient is, the less there is of it in the food.
We used to feed the boys Nutro Kitten before we learned to read pet food lables. I suggest going to www.petfooddirect.com and looking up your food to see the ingredients if I didn't list it above. You'll see what I'm talking about. And no, "Chicken Meal" is not a sufficient enough source of protein to be 1st on the list. Actually, Purina might be better...atleast they name Chicken as their primary ingredient! :)
Good luck!
