I'm alone again...broke up w/ "el diablo"...again...should I get a new cat (and friend for Sparkle) to fill the void...I've wanted a second cat for awhile...maybe this is the perfect CATalyst for a new, more reliable companion who actually can make a committment ;-)

I'll decide while I'm getting bronzed on the beaches of Jamaica in 16 days.

I say the more the merrier! We had to get my Auggie his own kitty - we kept gettting complaints that he would sit at the door and cry when we weren't home. Auggie HATES to be alone and to this day, refuses to be in a room by himself. So we got him his own kitty, Caesar. Caesar keeps him company and they love eachother. Auggie still prefers to be with humans though and he's not too fond of our new puppy, but will not leave the room even if she's in there.

Anyways, I say get one...of course, I would have dozens of cats and dogs if I had the room for them!!! LOL

Yeah, I'm well on my way to becoming the *Crazy Cat Lady* from The Simpsons.

Sorry to hear about your break up. I think getting another cat is a great idea!! Two cats will keep each other company and then they someone to play with.

Have fun in Jamaica and let us know what you decide to do!

Sorry about your break-up. I think getting another cat is a great idea. I don't know if Sparkle will feel the same way at first, but I bet she would like a companion.

Sounds like you're getting ready for a much needed vacation.

Hugs,

Leslie (cl-lcni)

oh, i'm pretty sure Sparkle will be upset, she can be a mean lil so and so....but she'll deal with it...Sparkle is 4 so I think I would get a younger cat so she can feel dominant, unless I find an older cat who really needs a home...

Sorry about the break up.

I am always for getting another cat, but don't have room with the two I already have. I would go for getting another cat, as you will be able to offer another poor homeless creature a good and caring home.

Enjoy Jamaica and all the best,
