Milo wears one so he can be 'belled' to help with his stalking of Izzy.

Gabby wears a bell collar. She started when I had a non-cat friendly dog and I wanted to hear if she got close to him. Now, I just like it and since she comes outside with us she's not a threat to the birds.

I had to smile when I read your post.

When I lived in Texas, I lived in a duplex and my landlady lived next door.

Oh my gosh! That's too funny- not a smart bird at all or a very fast half blind cat. Gabby has a problem with one of her hind legs so she's not so fast at "catching" anything.

Junior will stalk Mo, but doesn't really pounce on him since Mo seems to be pretty aware of where Junior is most of the time.

Mine don't wear collars. I found one was getting it caught up over his mouth, so I don't use them, except when I take them in for shots in their carrier- if I go to Tractor Supplyforthe clinic- I put a collar and a tiny leash , too , just in case something happens where I need to get hold of the leash... just as a precaution...though the vet is so fast with the shot, nothing has ever happened..
