Do your cats react to the change in the weather?  Behavior? How about where they sleep?

Mine get a case of the crazies as the weather gets chillier and then seem to hibernate once it gets really cold. I don't have any one that sleeps under the covers...though I do seem to have more of them ON the bed in the winter.

My cat sleeps more in the warmer weather too. Some of it may be due to boredom as there is less bird activity outside then so nothing to look at. Now there are a lot of birds in the bushes eating the berries and she spends a lot of time on the windowsill watching them. She still sleeps plenty though!

She's still shedding as much as in the summer.

The one thing I like about the cooler weather is that the cats aren't shedding...ha-ha!! My 2 actually sleep more when the weather is warmer, not sure why.  Let's be honest, cats sleep 23 hours a day... ha-ha...just kidding.

We are having a cold spell here and it's been pretty chilly at night.  The cats seems to sleep a lot more when it's cold, although it's not cold in the house.  I don't know why it would affect them.   I don't have any undercover sleepers either, but Sammy and Pumpkin sleep on our bed.  Oakley and Tiger sleep on their heated beds or in front of the woodstove.  Oakley will sleep on the heater vents sometimes.
