Do you sleep alone?

I certainly don't. That being said, not everyone sleeps with me. Of the crew, Maestro, Ivy and Tommy tend to come and go. Tim and Mo pick a spot and generally stay. Spud will wander by while I am reading before turning off the lights but that is about it. And Junior....not a chance. :)

I have tried locking mine out (though I think I would get lonely based on how I feel on vacations) but at least one will start banging on the door.

I currently have a foster (the bigger ones are out all the time) that likes to sleep "RIGHTHERE" :)

I was thinking animals, but I guess you would have to include spouses if you have them. :) I know what you mean about nightly contortions - Tim likes to sleep dead center in the middle of the bed.

My husband and I have to keep our door shut because the cats walk all over us if we don't. I can usually sleep through the cats but when they start walking on my face it drives me crazy.

Sadly, the kitties don't sleep in the bed with Dh and me anymore.

They used to, but Dh would often complain of his eyes itching when Mia got in our faces, and just generally about her persistence (or purrsistence!) about being in our faces too much that they got kicked out.

Ari rarely slept on the bed anyway, but when he did he'd stay by our feet.  Mia, bless her heart is the sweetest lovable thing ever, is in fact, very annoying in her loving face snuggles, kisses, and pawing.  I have to admit, I miss her dearly, but actually do sleep better without her there.

I thought that she'd be traumatized when we closed her out at night, but she got over it super quickly and now sleeps in her pillow on the window sill.  Ari usually sleeps on the chair in the living room, or when the weather is cold in the doggy bed with his canine sister, Fiona.

Mia and I usually have lots of snuggles in the bed before actually turning out the lights though, when I carry her to her pillow in the other room.

My Rusty used to curl up on my pillow too and have the softest purr.  Sometimes I would roll over and get a mouthful of fur.  lol

Nope we usually have a couple of kitties in bed with us too.  Sammy sleeps by dh's feet and Pumpkin sleeps in the middle.  Tiger usually sleeps by my side when the weather gets cooler.  Sometimes Trouble will come up and sleep by my pillow and purr in my ear in the early hours of the morning.

Does my dh count? LOL. Coco sleeps with us, but only by my feet. Never on dh's side. In the winter she was there every night but in the warmer weather she's been sleeping on the floor. When we have the ceiling fan running she doesn't even want to come into the bedroom, stays just outside the doorway giving the fan a wary look.

Grandcat (the one in my avatar) used to sleep with us all the time. He wasn't afraid of fans or rolling bodies etc. We'd wake up clutching the edges of the bed while he stretched out in the center, or my body would be contorted around him somehow. I have to say that I didn't sleep very well when he was here....but he did the cutest thing ever: in the morning he would curl up on my shoulder/the pillow next to my cheek and become a furry pillow for me. I do miss that part.
