Hairballs

Lately, within the last month or so, one of the cats has been barfing up hairballs. I think it's Auggie, but I've caught both him and Caesar barfing, so I'm not really sure which one it is. Auggie and Tibby are both medium hair and Caesar is short hair. Auggie sheds like crazy all year round, which is why I think he's the one with all the hairballs.
Is there anything I can do? Does the food for hairballs really work? The problem I have is Caesar has a very sensitive tummy and it's impossible to keep their food separate and he can only eat a certain kind (right now it's Purina Pro chicken and rice). I've tried all kinds of food and that is the only one that agrees with Caesar so I'm reluctant to change foods.
Thanks

Hi Kelly!
It's tough for me to get on the boards. They are blocked at work and having a 4 month old now doesn't leave much internet time in the evenings. And when the baby goes to bed, I like to smother my furbabies with attention. lol.
By the way, TIbby is STILL doing his high wire acts on the railings. Drives me nuts! lol
Thanks again

Hi Kelly, it's nice to see you here. You are one busy lady!
Thanks again.

My Zelda has the same problem that yours does. She eats Purina One Hairball Formula, but the thing that has really helped has been these treats that Whiskas makes. These are the only hairball ones that she'll actually eat as a matter of fact. They're Whiskas Temptations for hairball. They sell them at the Meijer's near my house (southern Indiana). Wal-mart doesn't sell them yet around here (at least the last time that I checked). Whiskas has them on their website though. She still hacks one up sometimes, but so far they've helped a whole lot!
