She's really a sweet and wonderful cat, but lately I'm very fed up with her.

I've found that wet baby wipes clean up cat messes pretty good. They don't fall apart like a paper towel if you have to rub something. Keep some on hand. Donna

Are you saying feliway sprayed -- say on carpet where a cat keeps peeing will make the cat not want to pee there? Donna

That would be what the box says, and what I read about it in the "Think like a Cat" book. The pooping incident I tried it on, is the only one I've ever tried it. And I'm 99% sure Bad Annie just couldn't make it to the litterbox before the diarrhea hit. She'd been sick for a couple days with it.

What I've used it for, is to calm the cats down. I suggested to a friend who was about to move with an extremely nervous cat, that she spray some around her new home. Again, having read it in the aforementioned book. She tried it, and her cat moved without incident. So I tried it when I moved with my cats. Again, no problems. So before the yearly vet visit last month, I sprayed it in their carriers. They were upset at the vet, but after getting home, no one got sick. Every yearly vet visit for the past 7 years, was ALWAYS followed by my 2 cats puking multiple times. So no one puking this year, was a major change.

Donna, what it does it encourage facial marking so, yes, in theory it may keep a cat from inappropriately eliminating in a certain spot.

My kittens and one cat want to use the bathroom in the living room right by the wall, behind the couch so was wondering if spraying it there would help. I bought this stuff you spray to keep the cats off certain areas. Guess what...my adult cat actually insultingly pooped ON the CAN. Donna

I shouldn't laugh but you have to admit that's funny.

I'm ready to try anything. I'll end up in a padded room if things don't change! My cat Trouble had a huge bump come up on his neck/head area behind an ear Sunday night. He went to the vet first thing today, they drained it, it was a cat bite. He had 104 temp., they gave him two shots and meds to bring home. Poor kitty. I was so scared it was cancer or something.
