I caught her peeing outside the litter box a couple of times lately. I finally got a pee sample of hers to the vet and she has struvite crystals, high protien in her urine and it was highly concentrated.

Oh Leslie, I'm so sorry! Misha had a UTI a few months ago and I remember that the antibiotics helped within just a few days to make her feel better. You're doing the right thing getting Honey into the vets for an exam. If you have to feed her different food, I would try feeding her in a separate room from the others while she's getting the medication (10 days or so if I recall). If you have plates of food around for the other cats, then it can be a challenge. My vet did not prescribe any special diet, but if she had I guess I would have just fed the other cats and after 10, 15 minutes or so I would put all their food away so the cat with UTI couldn't get to their food. It's not easy, is it?

I'm praying for sweet little Honey to fight off this infection soon and get back to 100%. Please give her a big snuggle for me! Misha & the rest of the girls send their love & purrs.

(((((Hugs)))))
