How much Taurine to add to homemade food

Hello,
We have been making our own dog and cat food now for over a year and have to mix commercial cat food with the homemade cat food because of the need for Taurine. We boil whole chickens, add carrots, parsley, celery and garlic for the dog food and for the cats we use the chicken livers, heart etc. plus add some of the chicken, chicken skin and fat from the dogs food then we add some parsley and carrots to it and blend it into a puree and freeze it. I read that during the cooking process it loses 2/3 of Taurine so my question is how many miligrams of Taurine capsules to add to one cup each of food? Also, do I need to add any more vitamins or supplements to it?
Thank you very much!

The book I have by Dr. Shawn Messonier who is a holistic veterinarian recommends 100 mg Taurine per day, you can also supply vitamins & minerals such as bonemeal tablets or powder (3/4-1 tsp).
