I would be mad too. Anyone can go to a dr and of course they will find something! If he has excess wax,so waht. I clean my cats ears with a biyt of baby oil on a tissue and it works great!

I can certainly understand your frustration with having to go to the vet all the time as we went through something here similar 3 years ago. It certainly is no fun!
However, I doubt that you're vet is in a conspiracy to make you miserable and take all your money. Seriously, if you feel this way I wouldn't go back. I'd find another vet that I trusted. I think though that you're just venting frustration.
It is possible that they just noticed the ear wax build up as sometimes it's deep in the ear canal or maybe it was overlooked as they were so focused on the ringworm issue. Did you ask to see the build up they were referring to? Did they mention ear mites? What type of drops did they give? Ears are nothing to mess around with so frankly I'd rather be safe than sorry in that regard.
I do empathize with you as it seems like you've been going through this for a long time but unfortunately ringworm can be very stubborn and the last thing you need is to spread it to you're other cats. If you think you have vet bills now you really wouldn't be happy then!
There is a false statement there that says ringworm doesn't spread easily and isn't contagious - on the contrary, it IS contagious and it DOES spread easily.
In *most* multi-vet practices you can request a certain vet if you want... in the ones I have worked in (2 of them were multi-vet), we had color coding for each Dr., it's like that most places but it doesn't hurt to ask if you could see a certain one.

I think I'd be sick of going to the vet too if I were you.
