I think I found a name for my kitty

Well after having the furry munchkin for about a month, I think I've finally settled on a name. It was a long process 1) because he already had a name (but I didn't like it much) 2) I wanted something that suited his personality and not just his appearance (big, fat tuxedo cat)
After some thought, I noticed that whenever I mentioned how he would greet me at the door, I would say how he sounded like a bird with his little creaky mew. And then I thought Birdie would be a cute name for him. So, right now the big ole, love bug is Birdie (until I find another name I like as much)

Awww, that's a cute name.

Congratulations! That's a cute name! :-) You really took your time and put some thought into it which shows what an awesome furmom you are!
I think everyone knows here how bad I've been about taking so long to name my Burmese kitten, so don't feel bad. I got mine in late August and only in the past few weeks I've pretty much decided to call her Gracey ...or Gracie....I can't decide on the spelling!....(On her registration I may be silly and call her Princess Grace) LOL! Of course dh will keep calling her "Meezer" and we'll both call her "Baby" out of habit, but I think her official name will be Grace. :-) What does everyone think? (When people voted for her name many liked Annika which means Grace, so that's perfect!) I could never get her to respond to Annika, Hoshi, Katja or any other names I tried....This has been the hardest kitty to name for sure!
