So I took my cat to the vet today - He has conjunctivitis in both eyes - Awesome ..

Normally the Vet would give me neo/poly/dex drops for an eye infection i would stick it in bam i would be done

There was a vet that took over the old vets office after I got married they didnt have my cats records I couldnt find them until tonight

So the vet gave me Vetrachloracin which is an ointment for the eye the vet knew I was pregnant and gave me a warning that it is extremely harmful to me and the baby it can dry out my bone marrow ..

She advised me to have DH do it but my mother has to do it .. My question is why would the vet to this knowing I was pregnant?

Its possible it's the only kind she carries for conjunctivitis which is why she told you to have someone else do it. You can wear gloves and do it yourself, you will be fine. It's good that she told you that warning, she could not have and then you would be in trouble.

At least she warned you, but I find it hard to believe this is the only drug she has to give you.

I agree - gloves should make it OK.

That does seem kin of odd that the vet would prescribe something like that knowing you are pregnant when there is other meds that you could use.
