I'm going to blow a fuse

Last year we got this wonderful little manx kitten for my husband, because our other two cats don't like him. This cat turned out just they way we hoped, he is a sweet loving lap cat, who only wants to be snuggled. My one female siamese was spraying, she decided she hated my husband, and sprayed everything of his, and every corner of the house. We talked to the vet and had to get rid of her, cause the vet said even if she's fixed, we would have to get rid of the target, can't boot out the husband for the cat. Well, as soon as we got rid of her Bucky, my husb. cat, has taken over spraying, with avengance. He has peed on every square inch of our carpet, the kitchen the entry way, the bathroom sink, anything left on the floor, the dining room table, the fruit bowl, (yes on the fruit, which was on the kitchen counter) and he has even occasionaly sprayed me. Three times, he has sprayed me, directly. Once I woke up in a puddle. Once I was holding him, and once he just walked up and did it. He's hit my husband with it once. We have a baby coming in two months. He's sprayed any baby stuff we have brought in. If someone comes over with a purse or backpack, he'll spray that. Our hosue smells. We can't get him to stop. Its become a habit, so the vet said it probably won't stop. I decided we have to get rid of him, if just for sanitary reasons. We can't have him peeing on the baby, or his bed or any of that. I may have to toss him out the window if that happened. (Joke) I can't get my husband to let him go though...its going to be difficult, but I can't take it. I clean up cat pee more than I'll be changing diapers in a few months. Ok, here's my biggest point, how do I get all the smell out????? Our entire apartment is drenched in cat pee. I spray enzyme cleaner on the spots i find, when i catch him doing it, but our whole hosue stinks. And does anyone know of a no kill shelter in Oregon? I want to make sure he goes to a good home, he is really a good cat. the other main prob with him if we kept him is that he likes to lay on people's faces, and I don't trust him not to do that to the baby. I have to find someplace to take him, cause my husband won't be able to handle being involved. I am going to go crazy. Does anyone have any advice? At least on getting out the smell??

I haven't read any other responses, but wanted to give my experience. My oldest cat started spraying and peeing everywhere when we began to move things out of our home to move.We figured he knew something was up(like I'm sure your cat does). When I took him to the vet,he suggested some sort of hormone shot(was suposed to make him less agressive or something),and put him on a kitty prozac type drug(I was not thrilled, but we were at our wits end and it was a way to keep all involved happy and in the same household). He stopped peeing and while was a bit more subdued, was still our happy cat.Perhaps try and find a different vet if this one has no ideas.

YOU SAID THE SIAMESE WAS NOT SPADE SO THE MAIL IS NOT NUTERED. ALL MAIL CATS WELL SPRAY WHEN YOU BRING A NEW CAT IN WHEN THEY ARE NOT NUTERED. I AGREE YOU CAN,T THREW IT AWAY BECAUSE ITS UNCOVENET FOR YOU. I HAVE 13 CATS IN THE HOUSE AND 2 BARN CATS AND THEY ALL DO VERY GOOD ABOUT WHERE GO UNLESS THERE IS A KIDINY PROPLEM. TAKE HIM TO THE VET AND HAVE CHECKED AND NUTERED.JOANN
