I have an 18mo old cat that will not stop chewing things up. I swear... it's like having a dog. She's chewed up the toes of my nice shoes. She's chewed off 5 slats of my mini blinds. She's chewed up the edges of my coffee table. Now, I know that some chewing is natural, but this is getting ridiculous.

How can I make her stop???

Well, Onyx's teeth, gums, and all-together oral health are great. She has little to no plaque, and doesn't have rotten breath. :o) The vet thinks she might be stressed... which makes sense because in the past three months a new 'mama' cat has decided to make my apartment building her home. (And the home of her 6 new babies.) The vet thinks that since she can see them through the window, she might be stressed about it. She could also be stressed because male cats occationally spray around my building.

So, he suggested a homeopathic remedy, called Rescue Remedy. It's an all-natural stress reliever that's safe for both my kitties.

Don't know if it's going to work, but I'll let everyone know what happens!

I'm glad that Onyx's teeth are just fine.
