It's Misha's BIG DAY!

After over 3 weeks in isolation, my dear Misha will be allowed out to discover the rest of the house and to meet her 3 sisters today! I allowed her out a short while last night while her sisters were downstairs in their big room. She sniffed around but was most interested in the chinchillas in their cages! LOL I will get the other spare room set up today so I can move the chinchillas in there and close the door for both their & Misha's safety (Our oldest chin was a rescue and she's not very friendly to new people or animals. I don't want her to, in defense, "projectile pee" on my Misha!)

I am putting her in a carrier as recommended & will let one cat at a time interact with her. I will let you all know how it goes! :-)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I hope our Canadian friends had a good Canada Day, and I hope our American friends have a wonderful Independence Day!

Hugs,

Suzy

How's Tiger Tush doing today? I'm sorry it's been so stressful on your babies. I'm praying they'll grow to love each other soon.

Thank you Greykits! She did enjoy herself...in spite of the hissing. LOL How's your Misha & Misty doing?

Hugs,

Suzy

It sounds like things went really well with Misha's first meeting with her sisters. I think that the girls have probably smelled and heard Misha so it wasn't a real big suprise to them to finally see her.

Misha was pretty good today. I can still hear her breathing & congestion, but otherwise she's fine. The girls hissed some more, but no fights at least. The kitties today pretty much all look for places to take their naps and avoid each other. The noise of the fireworks tonight were a bit stressful at times, but they did well most of the time.

I'm glad Misty & Misha kept cool in the AC! Do they ever sleep with you, or do they prefer to patrol during the night? It was so sweet finding my Misha asleep on my jeans this morning. She must have been looking for a familiar scent. :-)

We'll see how tomorrow goes. It's a holiday off work, so I'll be home all day.

Have a good night!

Evening Leslie!

I hope you had a nice 4th! I'm just back home making sure the girls are not too stressed. You're right, Misha loves exploring! There's still hissing and avoiding going on between the girls, so taking it slow is good advice.

I am still worried about her congestion and breathing problems, but hopefully she will continue to improve. Thank you for your continued wonderful support & kind words. I certainly have been scared at times praying I was doing everything possible to help my Misha. I hope she knows how much I love her....I sure tell her constantly. LOL (She's fun to talk to ....especially when she talks back!)

Have a good night!

The girls will be hissing for awhile but I'm sure they will settle down in time.
