Well, things are slowly continuing after our spring. We had a few minor bumps on the way, but now we hit something of unknown size. Hamlet developed a small lump on one of his nipples. It became spongy and oozed a bit and of course I brought him right in. His vet did not like the look of it and took a cell sample. Today I brought Leo to the vet for his health cert. as we are going to the east coast in the morning and as usual Leo comes with us. We have a friend here who is staying with Orion, Calliope and Hamlet. While at the vet with Leo we got the results of the cell tests. Hamlet has a epithelial tumor. It will have to be removed and biopsied as its location leaves open the possibility of mammary tumor or cancer and we have to make sure it is not cancer.
It has me a bit shaken today, and of course I am just imagining the worst. :(

hi david-
i will be praying that hamlet's tumor is benign.
I'll be keeping Hamlet in my positive thoughts and prayers that it isn't cancer.
Sending many prayers for Hamlet that it will not be cancer and he will recover quickly. Let us know what they discover.
Hugs,
