I have bought ellie the new kitty some kitty , cat toys but was wondering if there are any special household things that cats really love to play with that are safe. Tiger was never much of a playing cat so.....Also she weighs about 1and 1/2 pds and the Nutro food says to give her 1/4 cup daily but she seems to want more???? It is weird as we feed the puppy Nutro also and on his bag that have such a huge portion for his weight that he would be so fat if he ate it all!!

Almost everything is a toy to a kitten.

Thanks! Tiger loved those bread ties but I never would let him have them as I thought he would choke!!!

Tasha's favourite toys are balled up pieces of paper, and string. She won't touch plastic balls, bells, fake mice, or any other conventional cat toys.

You could try a fishing pole-type toy, but make sure it doesn't have any feathers and such, since kittens can easily choke on them.

Yes...my vet also said to free feed kittens since they are growing and you don't need to worry about them eating too much at this stage.

Oh boy, toys that kitties would love:

Toilet Paper Rolls

Golf Balls

Wadded Up Tin Foil

Paper Grocery Bag

Boxes

Those are the things that my "Java-Pooh" loved.
