Kitty going to vet for sores

Hi again. I posted a few days back about my kitty and the sores on her neck and face. I have been lurking around the board, and like it, so I will just introduce myself and my kitty before I pose a question. I am Kelli and my kitty is Bat-girl. She is an all black short hair and is the most awesome cat I have ever had (and I have had A LOT). Anyway, since I posted last, the sores have gotten so much worse. The one on her neck is now kind of CONNECTING to the ones on her face. And not to be gross, but they look like they are covered in dried puss. We are taking her back to the vet tomorrow, but I am so worried. Bat-girl is very spirited and the most difficult cat to control I have ever seen. Whatever treatment they give us, I don't even know if she will let us do it. The antibiotics they gave me last time were so hard to get on her because she FREAKS OUT!!! Then she shakes it all off. We were hoping the vet might board her and treat her for a few days since he has magical powers in controlling her. (But she was so mad she started salivating. That was a first.) I just love her so much, and she just isn't herself. Does anyone know if vets might do that??? I know it will probably cost and arm and a leg, but I just want her better!!!

Yes, most vets will board an animal if the owner cannot medicate at home - we do it for about $8/day.
Cat =^..^=
