Is anyone else's cats happy to see firework season end?

I live in the country so my cats (and dogs) don't have to deal with fireworks, but I bet kitties in town are sure glad they are all over with.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), my adults are older and don't seem all that bothered anymore.

We live out in the country so the only fireworks were a couple from the neighbors. I'm not so sure that Gabby is very cat-like. She likes loud noises and goes to the window to watch thunder. I don't think she even woke up when the neighbors fireworks went off. She can hear the can opener so I'm pretty sure it isn't a hearing problem.

I do find it interesting that my cats never hear their own names but if you pop the top on a can of kitten food, they all MAGICALLY appear.

Gabby isn't afraid of the vacuum. She'll leave the room but it's more like the vacuum is inconveniencing her.
