Noelle here. I left Bad Annie and Chalimar at home stalking birds. I had an eventful weekend. Bought a storm door for my new condo, and the couch and chair for the familyroom were delivered. I have now completely furnished my new condo. Very cool. I didn't have the furniture 5min, and Bad Annie dug her back claws into the sofa. I about freaked. I checked, though, and the fabric was fine. Good thing I spent time looking for fabric that would withstand a full-on attack by Bad Annie. (She clawed the sofa while attempting to jump onto the kitchen counter...where she's not supposed to be anyways.)

Since I don't have real kids, I didn't expect anything for mother's day. Does the fact that Bad Annie coughed up a furball in the morning, count?

As you know I've been dealing with sick kitties. Trying to set up a meeting with a rescuer to place some kitties for someone in a foster home. This girl keeps jerking me around, her emails are sweet and friendly/helpful one time and then she is stressed in the next one and changing our meeting day. I've decided alot of these rescue group individuals are split personalities!!! Everyone pray for me to find some patience while dealing with all of this!!!! On the upside, the sun is shining and its warm. Donna

We're having our last dry day for the foreseeable future, so I'm starting on multiple loads of laundry ... I just hope everything dries quickly, or I'll run out of clothesline space. This is about the fifth non-rainy day in a row, and of course I've been too busy all week to take advantage!

I nearly lost my baby Jackie yesterday! She escaped from the car and took off in blind panic, trailing her leash behind her. Now, I know perfectly well you're not EVER supposed to chase a fleeing animal since it triggers their flight response, but I panicked and took off after her. I was really terrified when she shot under an old shed filled with about a thousand things to catch her leash on. But she got out of that and climbed a tree onto the roof. Thankfully the leash was hanging down the side of the house and I could get hold of it, and keep her in one spot till someone could fetch a ladder. I climbed up far enough to reach her and pulled her down to safety, then went in the house and collapsed! Tegan was VERY angry with the humans for awhile for letting her little sister escape, and VERY angry with her sister for taking off like that.

Hi Cat, with Boo Boo and Timmy. That's a bit strange to have a birthday party on Mother's Day, I think and in the evening for 5 year olds.

Aren't furballs wonderful! My vet said the cats are losing their winter coat and suggested I get one large bag of hairball formula dry food for them to eat. It has helped. I also bought my couch/loveseat and curtains with cats in mind. The only hurt places on my couch are the back corners, the cats continue to stretch on them and you can tell. The rest of the couch is fine. Donna
