Our city is full of dutch elm and we are losing all of them. We lost one in the front and one in the back. Now I planted flowering crabs. I thought it was to cold to plant. I guess our ground is froze solid!

My weekend went pretty well. Specifically went shopping to get some suits and shoes for interviews (trying to find a full time job) on Friday, but that was a bust. That always seems to happen when you are specifically looking for something. Went out to dad's to see my babies. Both are fine. Samantha (my dog) got a bit "dependent" and whenever I was outside, she had to be right next to me, touching me. It's getting hard to see her be like this and I'm beginning to think about having her put down. She's 13 years old, had a good life, and due to life changing, there simply isn't anyone around to give the attention she needs. We are not neglecting her or anything of the sort. But I was always the caretaker and spent the most time with my pets and I can't be out at my dad's all day, every day like I used to be. Plus, my grandparents' dog was her mother and as my grandparents live next door to my dad, our dogs have always been together. My grandparents had to put their dog down due to illness. I seriously thought my dog might pass away as well because sometimes that can happen. But she's still here. I guess I'm just starting to worry about her quality of life.

Bridgett here at work on my Monday. We had off yesterday. The cats and I worked around the house, dishes, vacuuming, setting up our bedroom. Badness appreciated the fact that I finally pushed the bed up against the wall. I had it away from the wall so I could paint. Now she can sprawl out on the pillows as much as she wants without fear of falling off. Silly cat!

What would I do without feline supervision?
