Hi everyone! I need some advice, tips and input regarding my move cross country with my cat. I have done tons of research; located pet friendly hotels, etc.
I would like to know if anyone has experiences with this type of move. I'm moving from Ohio to Arizona in June.
I would like to purchase an extra large carrier so Bella will be more comfortable.
Anything would be appreciated!

I have a friend who just did that (from New England down to Florida...) and she did get a larger crate, stayed in pet friendly hotels and said it was an uneventful trip - her kitties usually are VERY high strung and they did fine.

Hi!

I did that a few years ago and was a new kitty owner at that (kitty was about 2 yrs. old. We had adopted her.) I drove from New Mexico to Nebraska. At first, kitty wasn't sure about all of it, but then laid down and took the trip quite well. I put her in the back seat with her food on the floor of the car on one side and litterbox on the floor on the other side of the car. Once she got the hang of using the box in the car and eating when she was hungry, she was a good little traveler. Good luck and let us know how everything goes!
