We have 4 cats (and a big dog). 3 of my cats we have had for a while now. My DH brought home a itty bitty baby he found at work. Works at a car dealership - poor kittens around all those moving cars! =:0 We have figured Rusty's age at about a month.
Seems silly but I have forgotten - which is the best indication of big enough to neuter? I have read when the fang teeth come in, when they hit about 2 pounds and when they are about 6 weeks old. Two of my cats were already spayed/neutered when I got them and Wallie (my child #3 ;)) was not as young when I got her.
So far, Rusty is doing well with the family. Tank - our dog - is doing great with him!! Nudges him around a little but nothing at all aggressive! Wallie, Libby and Sam are feline disdainful right now but that has been kept solely to some hissing.
