waaah.gif I have guests staying at my home and my cat is acting so weird. I don't know what to do. She wont come out from under our bed. Not even to eat or drink or even use the bathroom. This morning I brought her out since it's only me and Anthony at home. And I shut my bedroom door so she couldn't go and hide again. Well, I put her near her food and bathroom and she just walked away from it. with her tail down. She's so scared. Well, she went into the kitchen and pooped on the kitchen rug. Shes never done that before! I'm so worried about her.

We know that shes scared...but its been over a week since my guests arrived and they are not leaving until begining of Feb.

Now DH is telling me that we should give her to someone who can deal with her...like the humane society. I love her so much. Its so hard to do that. I don't know what to do. sad.gifdunno.gif

I've kept ferals in my bedroom, they will come out at night to potty. Put a litter box and the food/water on the floor right at the end of your bed. Shut your door and leave the kitty alone for a couple of days. She needs time. One of the ferals I brought home stayed under the bed for 7 days, one stayed for 14 days, sneaking out when no one is in the room and sneaking all over the house at night while we were asleep. I don't think you have any reason to give up the cat. She may always be shy. Two of my cats will run and get in the kitchen cabinets when strange people come over. Donna

thanks everyone I guess I'll try it. I'm just worried about the litter smell and I really dont want bugs coming into my room.

I do love my cat! But I don't want her to die..cause shes too scared to eat and stuff!!! I'll try it and let you all know what happens! Thanks
