New here...HELP!

My cat Tigger came back from the vet Wed. morning after staying over night. SInce then her sister, Pepper, keeps hissing and growling every time she sees her. It is SO upsetting. I figured at first it was just the "vet scent"...but it's been 3 days now. These two loved each other before. Any advice? Thanks!

P.S. Tigger went to vet because she was having neurological symptoms. She is fine now, except one leg is wobbly. Perhap THIS bothers Pepper?

Welcome to the board. I am not really sure why it has kept up for so many days, but you might want to rub Pepper down with a towel, then rub it all over Tigger. This will transfer the smell. I don't think it would be because of the wobble, but you never know. I would give them a few more days and see what happens.

Hi Mich_0115. *WELCOME* to Cats. You are right, it's mainly the vet scent that's upsetting Tigger. A couple of my kitties do that too.

Cl-Tami had a good suggestion about rubbing a towel on them.

Pepper will get over it and they will be back to normal. You might try spraying some Feliway spray around the house to calm Pepper a bit.
