Pros and Cons on getting a third cat

First let me tell you about my two cats that I have. Rhoda is a female gray cat who's almost 17. She tolerates my second kitty, who's name is Rudey. Rudey is a male one year old kitty who was adopted out of the wild. Rudey is part mancoon cat. He has the large paws and large fluffy tail. He is a lap kitty and always wants to be petted. Rhoda only wants attention when she wants attention. If I call her Rudey comes flying. I've caught Rudey chasing Rhoda. I think having another cat put some "spunk" back into her. My friend wants to give me another kitty who's 6 months old. My rriend thinks that it is a female cat who's about 6 months old because all the other cats in the neighborhood is chasing her. She thinks that the cat is in heat. She says that this cat is as friendly as Rudey. She kept Rudey's two brothers. She is willing to pay part of the neutering and shot bill at the vet. The cat would be spayed/neutered and shots before I brought it into my house, and also treated for flees. My friend has 3 dogs and 2 cats so she can't have any more. If I don't take the kitty, then she feels that she has no choice but to take it to the pound and they will put the cat down. That just breaks my heart, but how do you think the other kitties will react? Please send me your thoughts as I must tell her soon.
The cons would be another mouth to feed and litter box to clean (more $$), How the cats would act? The pros would be another sweetheart to love and to save it's life.

I would say the pros to saving that cat would be worth it!
I agree with Chris. The pro is saving the kitten's life.
