Me again

I should know this by now as i see it alot in my shelter. But i'm wondering. My oldest cat has been losing a bit of hair on his back, just in one spot. He's had a tendancy to pull out his own hair though. He sheds big time. And when he grooms, he sometimes chews at himself, and he ends up puling out chunks of his hair. But now i've noticed theres a small patch of hair missing just above his eye... (you know the spot abot each eye that tends to have lighter and thinner hair? you can usually see their skin anyway?). He's got a small patch there thats missing hair. Keep in mind, he's 14 years old. I'm not sure how to tell if its just hair loss, or ringworm.

It could be demodectic mange too, they have them normally in their hair follicles and they sometimes can have an "outbreak" if their immune systems gets compromised even slightly.
