Rubbermaid high-sided litterbox

I had read about the Rubbermaid litterbox someone had given the thumbs-up to on this board and decided to give it a try. One of our kitties, Clapton, is an avid digger and loves to "play" in the box before he uses it. We tried everything we could think of to get our other low-sided box to work. More mats, tighter space in between the box and the wall - you name it and we tried it.

This box has been great for our situation. I got it in the mail last week and, after a lot of sniffing around, everyone has adapted well. Our little digger Clapton LOVED the u-shaped dip in the front and promptly began digging litter out of it. After we got past that little adventure, the box was a success. I highly recommend it to anyone that has a "digger" in their family. Litter scatter is greatly reduced and makes clean-up around the box much easier when we clean their box.

Just wanted to pass this along.

Where would i find one of these - my little one digs all day long! And I must clean up the floor a dozen times a day and it makes me crazy! Is there a website I could go to, to order one? This would be a Christmas present for ME!!!

One of these sites sells it, petsmart.com or petco.com I can't remember which site. I am buying two this weekend if the store carries them. Or else I'll be ordering one.

I just bought the "flip lid" one from Tidycats. I got it at Target. the lid is low, it just flips up to clean and the litter stays in the box because it is covered. the real good part is that it is rounded so no pee gets stuck in the corners.
