My oldest cat Maestro passed away last Thursday night with the help of the vet. He had been diagnosed with a salivary gland tumor that is basically untreatable and add to that he turned 19 years old last fall. It wasn't fair to let him deteriorate, so I made the hard decision to let him go peacefully. The house is certainly missing a certain presence.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We had similar a few years ago. Our cat was 18 and she had a recurrence of breast cancer and wouldn't make it through the surgery.

I hope you can find peace soon.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a difficult decision to let them go.  I lost my 19 year old cat ^Tiger^ a couple of months ago and lost ^Trouble^ last October.  I know what you mean about your house missing a certain presence.  ^Maestro^ was a such a handsome boy.

My heart goes out to you for your loss.  Sending you lots of ((((Hugs)))).
