I have a current foster who is.....let's just slightly innapropriate and can be over stimulated which causes her to bite (though not hard). She plays hard - and tends to hiss and growl at the permanent crew here. I just learned from the cat advocate at the shelter that she has been housed ALONE since she was 6 weeks old - and she is now 5 months old. Well geez - no wonder she is weird. She went up to Mozart the other day - body relaxed, ears up, ready to play....and growling. Luckily mine have done this before and just ignore her until she gets too much in their face.

She is great with me though....wants to be around me, sleeps next to me at night. And she is learning....I just hope when a family decides to adopt her they are willing to work with her.

Poor little girl.  She is a cutie.  Being a tortie doesn't help either.Wink  I'm sure that she will pick the right people to adopt her.  She sounds like she's trying and so sweet to people if not over stimulated.

I sure hope it all works out for her.  Maybe she can even be in a single cat family.  Has she had any prospects for fur-parents yet?
