Skunk Season & Revolution

This is my first post here, so I'll take a moment to introduce myself. I have a very active, healthy 14 year old outdoor cat. We got him when he was about 3 years old - a sad looking stray with a great personality that we took in. Fed him a bit, fattened him up some...next thing you know, we belong to him! He brings such joy to our lives and is a constant source of amusement (and sometimes bewilderment!); hubby and I are so fortunate to have him around.
So here's my question. I just smelled the first skunk of the season outside (apparently they like trying to get under my porch) so I know the inevitable will happen soon....every year the darned cat gets sprayed. I've actually seen him hanging out with the skunk on the lawn! I guess sometimes he just gets too close. This is the first year we've used Revolution on him for fleas. If (when) he gets sprayed by a skunk, will we be able to give him his usual tomato juice bath? It's my understanding that after 2 hours of application, Revolution is waterproof, so I'm guessing we should be okay? I've been dealing with his little flea friends coming into the house all summer, so I certainly don't want to detract from the stuff that's supposed to kill the little suckers! TIA :)
