Storm coming

Anyone else in the Midwest?  Here in Iowa we are supposed to be getting a massive blizzard starting tonight into tomorrow.  I haven't had a chance to trap my Mama cat yet.  This morning I did get her to eat on my porch, but that was with the screen door propped open and she'd take off any time I made a move for the door.  She's been hanging out in her "hot box" we made her.  But with 10+ inches of snow, and 50+ mph winds I am worrying pretty hard.  I guess she's got more than a lot of outside animals do though.  My mom and her pastor found a small teenage cat and have it in the Pastor's study for the next few days.  Keep warm everyone!

I heard that the Midwest has a good sized storm coming.  I'm in Oregon and we had a couple of inches of snow yesterday, but it wasn't really cold.  I have 5 barn cats and worry about them in the winter a lot.   They have shelter and food and seem to do well, but I still worry.  That's nice you have a nice warm place for your Mama kitty.  I hope she will let you catch her soon.

That's nice that you pastor is keeping the stray cat in his study.

Keep warm and safe.

I have a feral I care for (she has access to my garage) and I worry so much about her. Sometimes the best we can do is provide food and shelter and keep an eye on them to make sure they are doing ok.

I also have an extra fur-kid for the past 3 years, she was abandoned by a neighbor and an outside cat.  We provide food, water and a warm place to sleep, but I worry too.  I can't have her in here, my indoor only 3 have a fit just seeing her come to the door...  she knows she is loved.
