When I took the kittys for their shots on Sat. I talked to the vet again and said my dh still thinks that you guys did something. He said that all of them were so shocked and still think about it. He said after she paseed they went back in and looked and the stump, ovaries everything was fine. The perforation they found was way up in the instentine and that it would have been impossible to even have seen it as she was not opened up that much. He thinks it was a defect and maybe the stress of the surg. brought it on but it would have happened. He said they would tell us if it was something they did and it would be impossible to even try to do it. He said he had to thank me for trusting them and coming back as some would not.He said they all were deeply disturbed about that am when she died/. They have Ellie and Scooby together in a pic on the wall.

I would tend to believe him - he is right in saying that the intestines really have no bearing on this surgery and that it could have been a defect that surgery put a stress on.

Thanks! I trust your opinion. The vet tech I always ask for is so great, maybe greater than the vet

I'm so sorry this happened. And I'm glad you talked to him about it. That helps. And it's good that you still have faith in him.

My ^Abby^ died suddenly of unknown causes the day after I took her to the vet for a very minor ear itch. He gave her a shot, but he said that kind of shot, if it were going to cause a reaction, would have caused it right away, not the next day. He said maybe she had an aneurysm, & the stress of the visit caused it to burst. But I kind of thought that would hapen right away, too. (?) She was extremely stressed. We had to wait a long time for him, & I had made the mistake of taking her out of the carrier while we waited. She was climbing all over me. Now I'm wary about taking them in for minor things. And I let them stay in the carrier, w/the carrier door open, until he walks in the room. But I'm still going to the same vet.

That is awful it happened to you to. It is one of those things where we may never for sure know I guess and have to say we did everything for them
