Thinking about getting an other cat

I have two 4 year old neutered male cats. They use to be out side Kitty's until one of them went through some misfortune events like being hit by a car, tore his ear, got a abscess to name a few. They are now inside Kitty's.
I have come across the sweetest most lovable male cat. His owners were going to put him to sleep because he peed every where. He came from a house that had other cats, he is all so declawed. Trying to figure out if maybe he started peeing because they declawed him?
Question is after a cat is declawed do they tend to stop using the litter box until they get use to not having their toes? Or can he just be Territorial?
I really don't want a cat that pees every where.
If it is from being declawed how would I introduce him to my boys? He can't protect him self and my boys will probably show some jealousy.
If its not from being declawed then well we won't take him. So my question is do cats act out after being declawed?
