I have three cats. two males, one being a small siamese and he has the short mans syndrom. They all have been fixed yet my siamese is always after her with his nose in her butt. The other cat is always doing her. I am feeling horrible for my female cat. They use to play and sleep together now she is always in another room or running from them.

I had a male and female cat for about 10 years, and they never did that; in fact the male cat was far more affectionate to my female who hated him because she was the sole cat for about five years, living alone with me before he was adopted. He did have a peculiar habit. He'd lick her affectionately, and within five minutes, pounce on her! She hated that, and I'd have to separate the two. But fortunately that happened a few times a week and not hourly. With my male, years later, i'd pinch him on the rear-end playfully and say `butt,' and he'd scream at me!! Talk about prude!!! Something else may be going on, as cl-lcni says.

I should add that playing with them twice a day, for 10 minutes each session, may help. I believe my male cat pounced on my female cat out of boredom and a need to play. Pam Bennett-Johnson offers loads of help in that area and other realms. If I knew then what I know now -- after reading a few of her books and browsing that website -- i would have played with Seth twice a day and probably prevented those pounces.... It could be, in other words, that your cats just need some outlet for energy and play.
