Hi there -

Thanks to those that responded to my original post.

I took your advice and brought Kitty into the vet Monday afternoon. It was determined that his belly was filled with fluid, because it moved when touched. The following day, the vet drained his abdomen and took roughly a pound of liquid out, then took x-rays.

They saw a mass in the abdomen that seems to have spread to the lungs. He'll be having an ultra sound & biopsy on Monday to be 100% sure, even though they're 99.9% sure it's cancerous as of right now.

So I'm going to see what I can do for the little guy in the long-term treatment-wise. Perhaps the ultra-sound will prove that chemotherapy or surgery will save his life. Wait and see!

I just wanted to write and thank you for your welcomes & quick responses.
