Hi,

So I've posted before about Ms Kitty being a picky eater and in the last few months we have found wet food that she likes. We bought an entire case with 25 cans in it.Well since she's been sick she not only has had a magical aversion towards the pill pockets but also to this food she once loved.I have brought the pill pocket aversion up with the vet he said she has

Ask cat people about feeding and you will get a different opinion from everyone. :)

Here is my 2 cents: feed her what she will eat. Try the best for what you can afford. The worst thing would be for her to stop eating altogether. I feed my adults Purina One. They seem to like it, it is reasonably good for them and I can afford it at the quantity I have to buy. $30 a bag is a waste is she isn't going to eat it. Personally, I am not wild about science diet. I know some pet stores on the weekends have people from different food places in and you can get samples that way.

For right now, the most important thing is that she IS eating....

If you have friends with cats, ask what they feed as well. And maybe ask if you can "borrow" a couple of cups to see what Miss Kitty thinks.

My thinking is that cats need to eat, so whatever she will eat is better than nothing, especially since Miss Kitty has health problems.
