Seems weird but maybe it is diff type of fur! I hope it passes, can you get "used" to it??? I do not know what I would do if it gets worse. I told her to wash hands and keep Elllie from her face so we will see.

I had always been allergic to cats growing up and when I finally moved out of my house in my 20's I just had to have a cat and I got a long haired persian named Natasha....she did not bother me at all so I figured I had somehow outgrown the allergy. Now I have my three cats and of course the six kittens......only one of the cats I know for sure bothers my allergies and that is Qunuk. He has a softer, finer type of fur, he is not a long hair, just not as course as the others...and if Im petting him, or he jumps up on my lap and then I touch my face then Im done and will go into fits of sneezing and wheezing....plus, because his fur is so fine it sheds everywhere, even when petting, so I try my hardest to vacuum constantly and wash my hands. So, it is possible that she could be allergic to one and not the other. Good luck, Stephanie
