So Cleo has been scratching herself more than usual lately. I'm not sure what the problem is....I checked her coat and can't see any fleas...and we just dosed her with Frontline.
I told DH that I'm going to pick up some Oatmeal shampoo and we'll try giving her a bath this weekend...hopefully it will help.

Did the oatmeal bath help? I have been using moisturizing bath wipes and AVON skin so soft bath oil spray on my Dixie. I think her hair gets dry and coarse and causes her to scratch. Kind of similar to people scratching their heads and body when they are dry.
It helped a little, but not completed. Also, she keeps biting under her tail....I would hate to think that her anal glands need to be expressed but if it keeps up I'll have to take her to the vet. She's due for her annual exam in any case so I'll just talk to the vet when I take her.
