To be honest, yes...I am a bit. Then again, there are "so" many things going on lately, this is just one new thing thrown into the mix....

I am a bit too! There really hasn't been any cases near me, but it's frightening when there's a "newer" disease out there and the dr's are having a hard time finding a cure/meds to keep the victims alive.

The world has changed *so* much since I was a kid, I pray for my two young children and everyday is a struggle to raise them as decent, caring people in such an unfriendly environment....I need to get out into the country, not that that solves all...but it'd be better. :)

honestly, i don't know much about it -- been too busy keeping up with local news lately, so the national and world news just goes in one ear and out the other. from the tiny bits i've heard, it's mostly affecting asia right now, isn't it? to be a responsible citizen, i really should learn more about it, but part of me just really doesn't want to know. i guess it's that old "if i ignore it, it will go away" mentality. too bad that rarely works!

Not worried, but still a little concerned. We've had a case pop up not too far from here and I work in the health industry. I feel bad for all the people who have waited months or years to adopt children from China and have to worry about Sars and stuff like that when they go over and whether or not the child they are bringing home is healthy. It should be a joyous time in their lives instead of having to worry about that.

I try not to be worried about it in my everyday life but with it all over the news & stuff it does cross my mind when I'm taking the kids out shopping & such.

We live in the U.S., so thankfully it's not a huge issue but - what if?! What if one of my kids gets it? Or what if I get it - I am an asthmatic - not great for a RESPIRATORY virus that's killing ppl of all ages now.

But I know it's beyond my control. When & if the time comes for us to take precautions, then we will.

Until then, I pray they find a vaccine or a cure fast. I don't want anymore ppl to die from it.
