How old is your dog?
Wondered about the balls. Had a cat that would eat his food tooo quickly & throw up food. For a long time we had golf balls in the bowl - People would always ask about them!
Wondered if I should buy a special dog bowl to facilitate slow drinking --- or maybe I should try the ball thing first?!
I would try the ball thing first....if it works, fine.
I would definitely try the balls first, too, and see if that makes any difference. You could also try elevating the bowls...it may help him keep the water down if he's not leaning down over the bowl.
