I haven;t been here in awhile, but I just wanted to let you all know that my most beloved "foster failure," RooBen, lost his brief battle with suispected liver cancer last Tuesday.  He was about 10 1/2. No kinder, gentler, sweeter pug ever entered my home.  He welcomed my fosters and shared his bed with them.  Never a growl.  Never once showed his teeth to anybody.  I miss him terribly.

Here is the last photo I have of him.  I was going to post it for Easter, but he didn't make it.

Posting one last picture of RooBen in his bunny ears. I was saving it to post on Easter, but he didn't make it.

My heart breaks for you Gaye....if every "foster failure" lived such a great life it would be a better world.  You gave Roo so much love in his last months....no one could have been a better fit for him.

I am so sorry for you.  It is never easy loosing a pet.  Over the years I have lost lots.

fortunately most of them died of old age, except for a couple of them.  I've had one

beloved Doberman who got cancer and it was heartbreaking.  I now have another and

so far he is healthy.  I also have three Bouvier DeFlanders and two offspring from my dobe and

my original Bouvier female.  I was at work one day and hubby called me and said help, what do i

do?  Batman has got queenie?  Nothing U can do.  Poor Queenie was just 6 months old & in her first

heat.  2 beautiful pups which don't look anything like either one.  Of course I had to keep them both!

then a year later I rescued 2 more adult Bouv's.  The love of dogs.
