majestically strolled form our northern neighbors back yard, across our yard, up (east) our driveway to the vacant lot across the street, across another street to our "kity-corner" neighbor and back across our street to the driveway between our southern neighbor and her neighbor!

DH is complaining that they didn't stand still long enough for him to get a good photo. If he got a good one, I'll post it...

Never had turkeys in our yard here before. In CA, yes. Here, no...

Here are two of DH's pictures --- can't see all nine in either but you can get a good idea!

We have lots of wild turkeys in our community, but have never seen any on our property.

I know what you mean. We have seen turkeys in the vicinity --- but it has always been near the wooded river banks of the Maumee. Not in our little few acres of suburbia in the middle of a corn field! But that doesn't mean they haven't passed through when we weren't watching!

Our cat, who ignores most birds (boring! He prefers chipmunks, actually), was fascinated by the parade in the back yard! He sat on the back of the couch, looking out the wndow at the turkeys for as long as they were visible!
