This is from rebecca, she has been here before and what happened to one of their puppies

FINAL DAIGNOSIS ON BELLAS ILLNES: " level 3 reaction/delayed hypersensitivity reaction to vaccines : leptospirosis or bordatella".

All tests for infection came back negative. She presented with an extremely high temp, heart rate & BP. She was listeless, then became uncouncious. This was very serious, she was given a 50/50 chance of survival.

What does this mean? Well, Bella was given all 3 vaccines at once, Rabies, Leptosporosis & Bordatella vaccines.. This should NEVER HAPPEN. All vaccines should really , in a perfect world, be given individually, at least a week (I do 2 wks) apart, so you can monitor if there is any reaction to a specific vaccine. It also cuts DOWN on the reaction possibility due to all vaccines being given at once. That is a lot on a puppy or dogs system. Thank God she survived - & is out of the woods. But this was a expensive lesson financially & emotionally.
...
If you pet owners out there havent taken my advice & gotten pet insurance yet, i STRONGLY suggest you do. Had they had it, 80-90% of her bill would have been covered. You never know when you are going to need it.

Anyway, what matters now is Bella is safe & ok. I also notified all of Kokomos puppy owners so they can be very vigilant about vaccination schedules on their pups. Again, thank you all for your support & prayers. You all pulled off a Vday Miracle!!! ♥

Is she the one who lost her two labs a few years ago and one had lymphoma?

Gosh that's terrible.  I have never heard a reaction to vaccinations like that before.  I'm glad that Bella made it and will be fine.  That was sure scary for Rebecca.

Yes that's right they both had the same thing at the same time.Cry  Since I don't do Facebook then I didn't know she was running rescue.  I don't think that she did it when she was on the boards did she?  She's awesome to rescue so many dogs and find homes or fosters to take them.

Wow that was really scary for Rebecca since she has lost her other dogs recently.

I'm not a big fan of vaccinations these days.
